As of August 1st, the site has moved from Blogger to Moveable Type, and obviously, there’s a new design, too. Not all the bells and whistles are in place quite yet, but we’ll be tweaking it over the next couple of weeks or so.
It takes a bit of an effort to reformat all the entires imported from Blogger, so I won’t be moving everything. You can always go back to the Blogger archive to find the older entries.
Other changes include:
–A different comments system. For now at least, all comments will have to be approved before they go up on the site. This is to prevent comments spam.
–Fancy sidebars. Check ’em out!
There will be an XML feed button up soon, as well as a style switcher.
If there’s any problems you notice, please feel free to leave a comment.

I love the new format. Sidebars are great.
I found this site and the book through the Bitch magazine article. I was so enthralled by “I’m Not the New Me” I read it in a five hour marathon and then had to have a couple of beers. I laughed really hard and had a couple of tearful moments too.
The Dove ads on the el make me uncomfortable. I think seeing women in their underwear anytime I am seated next to a drunk, a schitzophrenic, a pickpocket or woman with a toddler I feel the accompanying nakedness is out of place. Women’s bodies will always be used to sell women products until women stop buying the crap. Only when their bottom line is affected will advertisers and their corporate whores pay attention to culture or social equality.

Quite nice. Smack Jeff in the head for taking so long. 🙂

Great look. And it’s Bloglines friendly now! (Okay, maybe it was before and I never tried, but I don’t think so.) Good job.
